About this Effort

Many decisions about North Tahoe happen far away and don’t always match what our community needs. We’re exploring the potential to form a town to have greater control over local matters like housing, roads, parks, and transportation. And we want your input.

Eastern Placer Future is a 501(c)4 organization formed by a group of engaged citizens exploring the potential to create an incorporated town with local decision-making in the North Tahoe area of eastern Placer County. The Interim Executive Committee is comprised of Alex Min, Andrew Ryan, Christian Brown, Danielle Hughes, Judy Friedman, Kevin Drake, Samir Tuma, Steve Teshara, and Wally Auerbach. Working committees are being formed to broaden involvement in this effort.
